Lawrence D. Ketchum Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded each year to graduating seniors based on their service to Epiphany and to the community. All graduating seniors are encouraged to apply in the spring of their senior year.
It is always bittersweet to see our graduates move on to the next chapter of their lives, but we are terribly proud and wish them great success in their endeavors.
Lawrence Ketchum was a man of vision, His great love of young people was evident within his immediate family and his extended family at Epiphany. At the time of his death, Larry's family recommended that the monies given in his memory be established as a memorial scholarship fund. This scholarship fund is a means through which Larry's vision and love of youth can continue.
The Lawrence Ketchum Memorial Scholarship has been established as an instrument through which we can recognize the service of Epiphany's graduating high school seniors. Interest from the scholarship fund will be awarded to qualified applicants to help them begin their post-secondary study. The committee which will determine the recipient(s) of the scholarship will include the Rector, the member(s) of the Ketchum family living in the immediate area, the Coordinator of Christian Education, and a representative from the Finance Committee.
Each spring, graduating seniors will be invited to apply. To qualify for the scholarship, the student must meet the following conditions:
be a member of the Epiphany parish
