Christian Education

Christian Education is an important ministry at Church of the Epiphany.  Barbara Little  is our Christian Education Coordinator.  Through her efforts and those of countless others we offer a variety of programs to further spiritual education for children, youth, and adults.

Please visit our Sunday School website for lots more neat stuff:  http://www.sundayschoolscoop.homestead.com/.

Sundays:

Nursery (9:00 – 11:45 am)
Children younger than three years of age are invited to use our nursery Sundays from 9:00am through the end of the 10:30am service, and at other special events.

Children & Teens  (9:00 – 10:00 am)

Classes are usually based on the theme of the Scripture Lessons appointed for that day’s worship, thus enabling children and parents to talk about the week’s theme together.  These classes better prepare children for the worship experience as well.  There are an abundance of teen activities and learning experiences.

Adult Forum (9:00 – 10:00 am)

Adults meet in the Parish Hall at 9:00am for a variety of programs led by our rector and, occasionally, lay people. All generations gather in the Parish Hall for fellowship and light refreshments between 10:00 and 10:30am.

Youth (9:00 - 10:00 am)

The Church of the Epiphany considers our youth to be a valuable part of the church community and an important group in which to invest time, energy, and commitment to growth in the Christian life. To that end, the Church of the Epiphany Youth Group is a vibrant and stimulating community of youth and leaders. We welcome youth in the 7th-12th grades to join us for fun, fellowship, and conversation about real matters of life and faith as well as hard work on behalf of those less fortunate than ourselves.  There are many and varied events for youth throughout the year including camping, hiking, caroling, lock-ins, picnics, and an outreach mission trip.

Senior High Youth

Led by Josh Frank , Missioner for Youth, the Senior High Youth Group meets for brunch after the 10:30 am service at the Summit Diner the first Sunday of the month.  Remaining Sundays, meetings are at Church of the Epiphany  from 6-7:30 pm, downstairs in the Senior High Youth Room, and are joint meetings with the First Presbyterian Youth.
